Specialist Chef

About the role

The restaurant is seeking a Specialist Chef to lead the kitchen in preparing high‑quality Indian cuisine. You will oversee menu creation, ensure food safety, and deliver exceptional dining experiences for both everyday guests and banquet events.

Key responsibilities

• Estimate quantities and costs of supplies and food items.
• Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
• Instruct cooks on preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation.
• Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty dishes for banquets and regular service.
• Plan menus, ensuring dishes meet quality standards and accommodate allergies or intolerances.
• Supervise and train sous‑chefs, specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks, monitoring quality and production levels.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent culinary experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional kitchen experience.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including morning, evening, and day schedules.
