Software Engineer – User Profile

About the role

The User Profile team at StackAdapt builds the core systems that power user identity, audience segmentation, and profile data across our advertising platform. As a Software Engineer you will design and implement high‑performance, real‑time microservices that handle billions of events.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scalable, distributed microservices primarily in Go.
• Design and implement pipelines that ingest, process, and store user profile and audience data.
• Build event‑driven components using Kafka for messaging.
• Work with distributed storage technologies such as ScyllaDB, TiDB, and Redis.
• Write performance‑efficient, low‑latency code and ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with product, machine‑learning, data, and infrastructure engineers to deliver platform capabilities.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience as a backend software engineer.
• Strong problem‑solving skills in data structures, algorithms, and optimization.
• Experience with relational databases and/or distributed data stores.
• Proven ability to build scalable microservices and distributed systems.
• Passion for building reliable, high‑performance systems at scale.
