About the role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer specialized in React to join an elite FinTech firm in Montreal. The role focuses on building high‑performance front‑end experiences for complex web applications, working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create fast, responsive, and intuitive front‑end experiences for complex web applications.
• Build web solutions and products with scalability, reliability, and low‑latency considerations.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to interpret requirements and deliver production‑ready features.
• Contribute clear, efficient code to a well‑engineered codebase that supports long‑term stability and growth.

Required profile

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• Demonstrated expertise developing production‑grade applications using the React ecosystem.
• Experience with Python is a plus.
• Prior exposure to trading or FinTech environments is beneficial but not required.
• Natural curiosity and passion for technology, staying up‑to‑date with new frameworks and best practices.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
