Software Developer – Network Management

About the role

Auvik is looking for a senior Software Developer to join its fully distributed engineering team. You will help build and evolve a cloud‑native network management platform that monitors millions of devices, delivering reliable, automated visibility for IT teams worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable microservice architectures that are fault‑tolerant and high‑quality.
• Deploy, orchestrate, and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Develop communication protocols for a highly distributed system.
• Write performant code for collectors running at tens of thousands of customer sites.
• Create tooling that processes Netflow, Syslog, and other networking standards.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering to deliver customer‑focused features.
• Apply AI‑enabled techniques, automation, and data‑informed debugging to solve complex engineering problems.

Required profile

• Several years of professional software development experience, preferably at a senior level.
• Strong passion for building reliable, scalable cloud services.
• Self‑motivated, collaborative mindset and a can‑do attitude.
• Comfortable working in a fully remote, distributed team environment.
