Software Developer, Mobile Platform

About the role

Join the Mobile team within the Platform Engineering division at MaintainX and help build a fast, safe, and AI‑enhanced foundation for shipping mobile features. You will work on internal developer platform tooling that empowers feature teams to focus on delivering value rather than wrestling with build infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain React Native foundations and tooling for the internal developer platform.
• Integrate AI‑native workflows into daily development and platform capabilities.
• Raise engineering excellence standards across mobile teams.
• Consolidate and evolve platform primitives such as SDKs, CI pipelines, build tools, and local development golden paths.
• Collaborate with other platform and product development teams to define and adopt platform standards.

Required profile

• 4+ years of mobile engineering experience.
• Expertise in React Native.
• Proficiency building shared modules, SDKs, and reusable components for cross‑team use.
• Strong understanding of Mobile DevOps practices.
• AI‑focused mindset and interest in applying AI to development workflows.
