Software Developer - Frontend

About the role
AppDirect is seeking a skilled Frontend Software Developer to join its Montreal team. You will work on a subscription commerce platform that powers millions of transactions worldwide, contributing to both UI components and backend services.
Key responsibilities
- Shape and evolve the integration ecosystem as the platform scales.
- Architect and build systems capable of processing high‑volume transactions.
- Design, implement, and support scalable, fault‑tolerant services to minimise customer impact.
- Participate in the transition to a micro‑service‑oriented architecture.
Required profile
- Fluent in written and spoken French and English.
- Strong product mindset with a track record of delivering end‑to‑end business solutions.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience developing software across multiple languages.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑moving, values‑driven environment.
Required skills
- PHP with Laravel framework
- React and Vue.js
- JavaScript and TypeScript
- CSS, including Tailwind
- MySQL
- Micro‑frontends
- Modern tooling such as Vite
- REST and GraphQL API development
- CI/CD pipelines and observability practices
