About the role
Johnson Industries Ltd. is seeking an experienced welder to join its manufacturing team in Etobicoke. This full‑time permanent role involves operating a range of welding equipment and ensuring high‑quality welds on metal components.
Key responsibilities
- Operate manual, semi‑automatic and fully automated welding equipment.
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals and processes.
- Examine welds to verify they meet standards and specifications.
- Operate flame‑cutting equipment and determine material weldability.
- Fabricate or repair metal parts using pre‑set welding machines.
Required profile
- 3 to less than 5 years of welding experience.
- Relevant welding certifications as listed in the posting.
- Proficiency in English (or French) as required.

- Manual welding.
- Semi‑automatic welding.
- Automated welding.
- Flame cutting.
- Blueprint and drawing interpretation.
