Site Supervisor – Institutional, Commercial & Industrial Projects

About the role

ONIT Construction is expanding its site supervision team and seeks an experienced Site Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day operations on Institutional, Commercial and Industrial (ICI) projects across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. You will ensure safety, quality, schedule and budget compliance while coordinating with project managers, subcontractors and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Supervise, schedule and coordinate trades, subcontractors, equipment and deliveries.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects and clients to support project execution.
• Enforce safety policies and Ontario construction regulations on site.
• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly site documentation and communicate with the health and safety team.
• Review drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor workmanship, site progress and overall coordination.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience on ICI construction projects.
• Valid G‑Class driver’s licence.
• Strong knowledge of Ontario construction safety regulations.
• Ability to work on‑site with occasional extended hours.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic digital tools.
