About the role

Executive Group Development is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead the construction of a landmark luxury hotel in Whistler, British Columbia. This high‑profile hospitality project offers the chance to shape a premier resort destination while working with an established development team known for quality and design excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day site operations from pre‑construction through project completion.
• Coordinate and supervise trades, consultants, suppliers, and on‑site personnel.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure construction milestones are achieved.
• Oversee quality control to ensure finishes meet company and design standards.
• Identify and resolve construction, scheduling, and site challenges proactively.
• Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations and company safety standards.
• Conduct regular site meetings, inspections, and progress reviews.
• Collaborate with Project Management and Development teams on updates, deficiencies, changes, and coordination.
• Maintain organized site documentation, reporting, and scheduling updates.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of Site Superintendent experience in commercial, hospitality, mixed‑use, or large‑scale residential construction.
• Experience overseeing luxury hotel or high‑end hospitality projects is a strong asset.
• Proven ability to manage trades and maintain accountability on site.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with high expectations.
• Detail‑oriented with a strong eye for craftsmanship and finishing quality.
