Site Superintendent – Ground-Up ICI Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead the construction of large ground‑up ICI (Institutional, Commercial, Industrial) projects in Sudbury, Ontario. You will be the primary on‑site leader, responsible for delivering projects valued between $50M and $100M+ safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations on large ground‑up ICI construction projects.
• Manage site logistics, trades, subcontractors, materials, and schedules.
• Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to project specifications.
• Lead site meetings and coordinate closely with project managers, consultants, and owners.
• Identify and resolve site issues before they impact schedule or budget.
• Maintain thorough documentation, reporting, and communication throughout the project.
• Uphold high standards for safety, quality control, and trade performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Superintendent on ground‑up ICI projects.
• Experience with projects valued at $50M+ is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, drawings, site coordination, and safety requirements.
• Ability to lead trades, solve problems quickly, and maintain project momentum.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience working in Northern Ontario or Sudbury is an asset.
