Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

As a Site Reliability Engineer at PheedLoop, you will own the full infrastructure stack that powers live‑event platforms used by thousands of users daily. You will design, build, and operate cloud‑native systems while ensuring they remain reliable, performant, and cost‑effective.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain the end‑to‑end infrastructure stack, including compute, networking, storage, databases, and deployment pipelines.
• Develop and evolve CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure‑as‑code, and automation to eliminate manual toil.
• Drive capacity planning, load testing, and performance tuning across services.
• Partner with backend and frontend teams to translate reliability goals into concrete architectural improvements.
• Instrument the platform with logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting to detect issues before they impact users.
• Participate in peer reviews, mentor junior engineers, and document solutions.
• Monitor cloud spend and lead cost‑optimization initiatives.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS and GCP) and container orchestration, preferably AWS Fargate.
• Proven ability to design and operate production workloads at scale.
• Fluent with infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform preferred) and configuration management.
• Strong focus on reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
