Site Program Coordinator – Vernon/Revelstoke

About the role

The University of British Columbia is seeking a Site Program Coordinator to support the Year 3 and Year 4 Medical Undergraduate Program and Post‑Graduate Medical Education activities at its Vernon and Revelstoke regional sites. This part‑time, hybrid position provides administrative oversight and serves as a primary point of contact for learners, faculty, and clinical staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative oversight for Year 3 and Year 4 MDUP activities and PGME Royal College programs at regional hospital and community sites.
• Create, maintain, and continuously improve collaborative administration processes for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
• Act as the first UBC Faculty of Medicine representative at the regional site, building and sustaining strong relationships with the local medical community.
• Develop and adapt systems and procedures as program capacity and learner needs evolve.
• Interact independently with medical students, residents, clinical faculty, and support staff.

Required profile

• Experience in academic or health‑care administration, preferably within medical education.
• Comfort working in an evolving environment with ambiguous processes.
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to work independently.
• Effective communication skills for liaison with diverse stakeholders.
