Showroom Consultant

About the role

EMCO Corporation is seeking a Showroom Consultant to join its fast‑paced, customer‑focused team. You will work directly with homeowners, designers, builders and architects, helping them select the right plumbing, HVAC, waterworks and industrial products for residential, commercial and infrastructure projects across Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Assist showroom visitors in assessing their needs, recommending appropriate products and closing sales.
• Develop and nurture relationships with designers, home builders and architects to generate profitable sales.
• Provide accurate quotes and delivery dates quickly and reliably.
• Enter orders and quotations into the system, expedite purchases and keep customers informed.
• Investigate and resolve customer issues, including short payments and returns, to exceed expectations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product literature and ensure showroom displays reflect current promotions.
• Follow all safety regulations at customer locations.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑service mindset.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships in the construction and design sectors.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple quotes and orders simultaneously.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and comfortable working in a dynamic showroom environment.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, waterworks and industrial products.
• Proficiency in using quotation and order‑entry systems.
• Ability to interpret product literature and technical specifications.
