Shop Manager – Pop‑up Store at Totem Mall

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Shop Manager to join our new pop‑up shop in Totem Mall (Fort St. John). The manager will drive profitability, ensure smooth shop operations, and lead the retail team while acting as a liaison with the Purdys Support Office.

Key responsibilities

• Use sales drive to achieve profit goals.
• Provide customer‑obsessed service and sales through leadership, training, coaching, managing and scheduling staff.
• Select quality team members by effectively recruiting, interviewing and hiring.
• Train and develop team members to become productive and promotable internal candidates.
• Control inventory levels of product and supplies to meet daily requirements.

Required profile

• Passionate about chocolate with at least two years of progressive management experience in a fast‑paced retail/hospitality environment.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and enthusiastic about selling a quality product.
• Dedicated to providing a great customer experience.
• Energetic and enjoys meeting new people.
