Shipping Administrator

About the role

Durabuilt Windows & Doors is seeking a Shipping Administrator to support its logistics operations. You will be the primary point of contact for shipment coordination, customer inquiries, and record‑keeping, ensuring that outgoing and incoming loads run smoothly in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect COD payments and reconcile final customer invoices.
• Track shipment schedules, match shipments to purchase orders, and enter shipping data on paperwork.
• Prepare driver routes, compile trip sheets, and manage fuel reporting for monthly and quarterly submissions.
• Answer customer inquiries regarding pending orders and shipments, and maintain accurate shipping records.
• Approve employee hours for payroll and calculate driver and scampers’ pay.
• Collaborate with the continuous‑improvement team to identify and implement process enhancements.
• Support health‑and‑safety initiatives, follow loss‑prevention policies, and keep the work area clean and safe.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of logistics experience, preferably in the trucking industry.
• Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and handle high‑volume workloads.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a solution‑focused mindset.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or construction environment is an asset.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑changing, team‑oriented setting.
