Shipper/Receiver – Warehouse Operations

About the role

Sysco Calgary is seeking a reliable Shipper/Receiver to join its warehouse team in Rocky View, AB. You will play a key part in ensuring that incoming and outgoing goods are accurately processed, documented, and moved efficiently in a fast‑paced, rural warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents.
• Assemble containers and crates for shipment.
• Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents.
• Record shortages, reject damaged goods and route items to appropriate storage areas.
• Pack goods for shipment and unpack received items.
• Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on all shipments.
• Oversee loading and unloading of goods using equipment such as loaders and pallet lifters.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding warehouse setting.
• Comfort with repetitive tasks, heavy lifting (up to 23 kg), bending, crouching and standing for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and reliability.
• Team‑player attitude and dependability.
• Bondable and able to pass a criminal record check.
• Availability for shift, on‑call, evening and weekend work.

Required skills

• Operation of a loader.
• Use of pallet lifters.
