Shipper/Receiver – Parts Department

About the role

The Shipper/Receiver supports the Parts department of a leading truck and trailer dealership. Working on a full‑time day shift, you will manage inbound and outbound shipments, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure safe handling of parts.

Key responsibilities

• Verify outgoing shipments against invoices and ensure they are in sellable condition.
• Load trucks for parts transfers and package shipments for carrier pickup.
• Complete all required paperwork, including bills of lading, customs and hazardous material forms.
• Operate a counter‑balance forklift or hand truck to move items between storage and transport vehicles.
• Count, measure and inspect incoming shipments, record shortages or damages, and coordinate resolutions.
• Enter received items into SAP and generate receiving reports.
• Maintain proper bin locations and assist with cycle counts.
• Pick and process orders using SAP RF equipment, building pallets according to safety guidelines.

Required profile

• Valid G driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and work safely in a warehouse environment.
• Professional appearance and strong customer‑service orientation.
• Clear criminal record check and drivers abstract.

Required skills

• Experience operating a counter‑balance forklift (Raymond Reach forklift is an asset).
• TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) certification is a plus.
• Forklift or tow‑motor certification.
• Proficiency with SAP (inventory posting and RF equipment).
