Shipper – Logistics & Transport

About the role

The Shipper will support Canadian Helicopters' head office by preparing and dispatching aeronautical products safely and efficiently. This position ensures compliance with industry standards, dangerous‑goods regulations, and internal policies while maintaining accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Pack aeronautical products according to industry standards to prevent damage and meet dangerous‑goods regulations.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation using computer systems in line with company policies.
• Identify and tag products to guarantee traceability throughout the shipping process.
• Measure package dimensions, verify weight, and calculate volume for accurate shipping calculations.
• Determine optimal routes and transportation methods based on deadlines and cost considerations.
• Verify that received packages conform to company policies.
• Handle products and operate a forklift when required.
• Perform deliveries and maintain cleanliness of shipping and receiving areas.
• Execute any additional duties assigned by the Material Manager.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in the MS Office environment.
• Basic mathematical knowledge.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team.
• Autonomous, dynamic, initiative‑taking, and detail‑oriented.
• Capability to lift and move loads up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift knowledge (considered an asset).
• Bilingualism (considered an asset).
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and access to a car.
