Shift Supervisor – Retail

About the role

As a Shift Supervisor at The Joint Cannabis you will lead the store team to deliver an exceptional guest experience while ensuring smooth daily operations. You will oversee opening and closing procedures, manage inventory, and uphold compliance with company standards in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming, positive shopping experience.
• Provide product knowledge, answer questions, and assist with selections.
• Complete all opening and closing procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain financial accuracy.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Assist with merchandising, promotional displays, and visual presentation.
• Monitor inventory levels, process orders, and perform stock counts.
• Support e‑commerce order fulfillment and packaging.

Required profile

• Retail experience (required).
• Supervisory experience in a retail environment (preferred).
• Ability to delegate, take ownership and manage a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong time‑management and prioritisation abilities.
• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• Current valid Provincial Cannabis Certification.
• Ability to provide a recent criminal background check.
