Service Technician

About the role

As a Service Technician you will join Tesla’s global service team, supporting the company’s mission to accelerate the transition to sustainable energy. You will work on the most advanced electric vehicles in production, collaborating with skilled technicians and engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic and advanced diagnostic and repair work on all Tesla products.
• Collaborate with team members to maximize repair efficiency and ensure high‑quality vehicle delivery, including cleaning and detailing.
• Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools safely and effectively.
• Use a company‑supplied laptop for diagnostics, online training, and documentation.
• Accurately record repairs, inspect shop equipment, and request replacements when needed.
• Provide direct feedback to design and engineering teams to improve repair procedures and products.

Required profile

• Automotive Service Technician licence or willingness to become a Technician Apprentice through provincial schooling.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines.
• Strong “safety first” attitude.
• Valid Class 5, G or G2 driver’s licence for Canada.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools.

• Experience using diagnostic equipment.
• Vehicle cleaning and detailing.
