Service Technician Helper

About the role

We are looking for a Service Technician Helper to join our team in Edmonton. You will work alongside Service Technicians to repair exterior doors and PVC windows, ensuring each service call is completed on schedule and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Load the service vehicle with required parts and review daily run sheets.
• Repair and adjust exterior doors and PVC window products, including re‑glazing.
• Set up and dismantle scaffolding as needed.
• Maintain clean job sites during and after work.
• Provide excellent customer service, confirming client satisfaction.
• Follow standard operating procedures, health and safety regulations, and wear required protective equipment.
• Occasionally stay overnight for out‑of‑town assignments.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in construction, window/door repair or installation.
• Experience handling glass and using hand tools.
• Familiarity with both metric and imperial measurements.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, changing environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Commitment to safety practices and SOP compliance.
