Senior Vice President, Operations

About the role

The Senior Vice President, Operations will lead a large, geographically dispersed service organization across Canada. This executive is accountable for operational excellence, client satisfaction, workforce leadership, and financial performance while supporting growth and market expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple locations.
• Execute regional business plans aligned with enterprise growth objectives.
• Ensure consistent service delivery, operational excellence, and high customer satisfaction.
• Own P&L performance, driving revenue growth, profitability, forecasting, budgeting, and cost management.
• Monitor key operating metrics and implement action plans to improve performance and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain executive‑level relationships with strategic customers and act as senior escalation point.
• Lead, mentor, and develop regional and local operational leaders, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Standardize processes, lead large‑scale transformation initiatives, and use data analytics for decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, customer commitments, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Management, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience within a service‑based organization.
• Proven experience leading large, distributed workforces across multiple locations.
• Demonstrated success managing substantial operational budgets with full P&L accountability.
• Strong track record of driving customer retention and employee engagement.
