Senior Vice President, Communications (Global)

About the role

The Senior Vice President, Communications will design and lead a world‑class global communications function for a fast‑growing Canadian food company. Reporting directly to the Global CEO, this executive will shape the corporate narrative across multiple brands, markets and stakeholder groups.

Key responsibilities

• Establish global communications standards and a cohesive brand narrative.
• Develop and oversee crisis preparedness, public affairs, executive positioning and stakeholder engagement programs.
• Build a scalable communications infrastructure that supports regional nuance while maintaining enterprise‑wide consistency.
• Provide strategic counsel on reputational risk, regulatory issues and complex business matters.
• Lead, mentor and expand high‑performing communications teams across North America and Europe.

Required profile

• Seasoned communications and public affairs executive with experience in large, multi‑jurisdictional organizations.
• Proven track record of leading through growth, transformation and organizational complexity.
• Experience supporting senior leadership in privately held or family‑influenced companies is a plus.
• Executive presence, calm under pressure and ability to operate in boardrooms, plant floors and with industry stakeholders.
