Senior Technical Recruiter

About the role

This senior technical recruiter position is based in Canada and focuses on full‑cycle talent acquisition for engineering and technology teams. You will partner directly with engineering leaders to shape hiring strategies that attract top‑tier technical talent in a fast‑moving, mission‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruitment for engineering and technology roles across multiple seniority levels.
• Collaborate with engineering managers to define hiring needs, role requirements, and ideal candidate profiles.
• Source and engage candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and niche tech communities.
• Conduct structured technical screenings and interviews to assess skills and cultural fit.
• Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Track, manage, and report recruitment metrics to ensure visibility and alignment with stakeholders.
• Optimize Applicant Tracking System usage for data accuracy and efficient workflows.
• Represent the organization at career fairs, meetups, and industry events to promote the employer brand.
• Continuously improve candidate experience and recruitment processes.

Required profile

• 5‑8+ years of experience in technical recruiting, preferably in high‑growth or tech‑focused environments.
• Proven track record hiring software engineers and other technical roles across various seniority levels.
• Strong stakeholder management and partnership skills with engineering teams.
• Deep understanding of full‑cycle recruitment, technical screening, and data‑driven decision‑making.
