Senior Tax Analyst

About the role

North American Construction Group is looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to join its finance team on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis. The role focuses on Canadian tax compliance, accounting, and planning while supporting multinational tax initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Canadian federal and provincial income tax returns and related information returns.
• Prepare quarterly and annual tax accounting provisions under US GAAP for Canadian, international, and consolidated entities.
• Assist with international tax compliance, transfer‑pricing documentation, and intercompany transaction reporting.
• Support responses to Canadian federal, provincial, indirect, and state tax audits.
• Provide tax guidance to internal stakeholders and contribute to income‑tax projects and research.
• Assist with indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of progressive tax experience, preferably in public accounting or a multinational corporate tax department.
• Experience preparing income tax returns for Canadian corporations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance; CPA designation (in progress or completed) preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities with high attention to detail.
