Senior Tax Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Senior Tax Analyst to join a growing tax team serving Canadian private companies, owner‑managed businesses, and high‑net‑worth individuals. The role offers exposure to corporate, personal, and trust tax matters in a collaborative, client‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review personal, corporate, trust and partnership tax returns.
• Identify and address tax issues, ensuring compliance with CRA regulations and filing deadlines.
• Assist with tax provisions, year‑end reporting, and corporate reorganisations.
• Support estate, succession planning and owner‑manager tax strategies.
• Conduct tax research, draft client memos and recommendations.
• Liaise with the Canada Revenue Agency and provincial ministries on client matters.
• Identify tax‑saving opportunities and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• CPA designation (in progress or completed) with 3‑5 years of Canadian tax experience in public accounting.
• Strong understanding of Canadian income tax fundamentals.
• Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines independently.
