Senior Tax Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to join our finance team and support the company’s tax activities across Canada and the United States. Reporting to the Senior Director, Tax, you will ensure compliance, contribute to tax planning, and analyze tax issues related to our operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the Group’s corporate income tax returns and tax provision.
• Conduct tax research and analyze the impact of new legislation on cross‑border activities.
• Develop and implement internal corporate tax compliance processes and manage tax records.
• Coordinate with Canadian tax authorities on information requests, audits, and assessments.
• Advise on taxable benefit measures and sales taxes required for the Group’s activities.
• Maintain internal controls to reduce corporate tax risks and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with legal, accounting, operations, and logistics teams as a tax subject‑matter expert.
• Provide timely support to internal stakeholders and supervise assigned processes.
• Keep tax documentation and internal policies up to date.

Required profile

• Degree in Taxation, Accounting, Management or Business Administration.
• Professional accounting designation (CPA) required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant taxation experience, preferably in a professional accounting firm.
• Strong time‑management, self‑motivation and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated judgment, initiative, autonomy and analytical skills.
