Senior Talent Sourcer

About the role

As a Senior Talent Sourcer at BDO, you will lead the strategic sourcing of top consulting talent across Canada. Working closely with Talent Acquisition Partners and business leaders, you will combine market mapping, talent intelligence and data‑driven insights to build proactive pipelines that support both immediate hiring needs and long‑term growth.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct targeted market mapping to identify key talent segments, competitor organisations and emerging talent pools aligned with priority hiring areas.
• Build and maintain high‑calibre candidate pipelines for specialised consulting and technical capabilities, including long‑term talent communities.
• Lead outbound sourcing campaigns using LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, research tools and industry communities to engage passive candidates.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring leaders to define candidate profiles, align sourcing strategies and provide market intelligence on talent availability and compensation benchmarks.
• Track pipeline health, outreach effectiveness and candidate engagement metrics, leveraging talent data to continuously improve sourcing approaches.
• Represent BDO professionally throughout candidate interactions, reinforcing the firm’s employer brand and delivering a personalised candidate experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Talent Sourcer or similar role in a consultative, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong ability to conduct market research, talent mapping and data‑driven analysis.
• Excellent partnership skills with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition teams.
• Demonstrated success in building proactive pipelines of passive talent.
