About the Position

Join a global leader in professional services and play a pivotal role in the energy transition. As a Structural Drafter specializing in Power Generation, you will transform complex engineering concepts into high-precision technical documentation that powers critical infrastructure projects.

Main Missions

  • Develop precise structural engineering drawings, including pile plans, concrete details, steel layouts, and architectural drawings, based on engineer sketches.
  • Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams (piping, electrical, etc.) to coordinate design development and ensure seamless integration.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve design conflicts and technical issues during the drafting process.
  • Revise and update technical documents according to feedback from engineers, controllers, and project managers.
  • Utilize advanced 3D/CAD software to produce accurate material take-offs (BOM) and pile schedules.
  • Maintain organized filing systems and contribute to the mentorship and training of junior drafting staff.
  • Conduct occasional site visits to support construction reviews and ensure design compliance.

Profile Required

  • Proven experience in structural drafting, specifically within the power generation or heavy industrial sector.
  • Strong ability to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict project deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel to construction sites for field reviews when required.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in 3D/CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
  • Expertise in structural detailing (concrete, steel, and piling).
  • Strong understanding of engineering design processes and technical documentation.
  • Effective communication and collaborative teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of material take-offs and scheduling.
