Senior Staff Software Development Engineer

About the role

BeyondTrust is looking for a Senior Staff Software Development Engineer to define the technical direction of the NHI Governance platform, a multi‑cloud identity and credential management solution spanning .NET services, PostgreSQL, Temporal workflows, and Angular front‑ends.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end architecture for NHI Governance, including service APIs, protobuf contracts, and data lineage.
• Design plug‑in seams for new identity sources and vaults, making them repeatable and conformance‑tested.
• Define safety and least‑privilege models for credential lifecycle automation and verify them in production.
• Lead the transition from prototype to hardened production, covering authentication, tenant isolation, FIPS‑compliant builds, and GitOps delivery to Amazon EKS.
• Mentor staff and senior engineers, raising design, testing, and AI‑assisted development standards.

Required profile

• Deep experience architecting large‑scale, multi‑tenant cloud services and owning cross‑team domains.
• Proven ability to influence technical direction across product, platform, data, and security leaders.
• Excellent communication skills and a track record of delivering secure, scalable solutions.
