Senior Software Engineer (Guidewire)

About the role

Norima Consulting is expanding its Guidewire practice and is looking for experienced Guidewire‑certified developers to design and deliver Guidewire solutions for client environments across Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Support clients on Guidewire projects involving configurations, integrations, migrations, and full implementations.
• Perform hands‑on development and technical problem‑solving within Guidewire environments.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with delivery teams and client stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes.
• Coordinate effectively with onshore and offshore team members.

Required profile

• 10+ years of software development experience in P&C insurance technology or consulting.
• 5+ years of hands‑on Guidewire experience across one or more modules.
• Guidewire certification required (Ace highly desirable).
• Expertise in at least one of: configurations, integrations, or data migration.
• Strong communication and leadership skills in client‑facing projects.
• Consultative, collaborative mindset focused on quality and outcomes.
