Senior Site Superintendent - Residential Construction

About the Position

Join Akash Homes, a leading residential builder with a strong presence in Edmonton, Calgary, and Winnipeg, as a Senior Site Superintendent in Calgary. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing residential construction projects from excavation through to final handover, ensuring excellence at every stage.

Main Missions

• Supervise multiple residential construction sites, managing the entire lifecycle from excavation to key handover.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and inspections to ensure projects are delivered on time and within quality standards.
• Enforce strict adherence to the Alberta Building Code and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.
• Conduct regular site visits, resolve technical deficiencies, and manage seasonal or post-possession repairs.
• Lead homeowner walkthroughs and ensure a seamless transition to the customer experience team.
• Collaborate closely with design, estimating, sales, and office teams to optimize project workflows.

Profile Required

• Proven experience in residential construction supervision and site management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously.
• Deep knowledge of Alberta Building Codes and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve on-site technical issues.
• Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between field operations and office management.
