Senior SEO Analyst – Technical & Data Focus

About the role

The Senior SEO Analyst will support The Home Depot Canada’s SEO vision by leading data‑driven technical SEO initiatives that improve site health, organic visibility, and customer experience. Reporting to the Technical SEO Lead, you will combine analytical rigor, technical curiosity, and executional excellence across ecommerce, local, and content portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and enhance SEO dashboards and reporting pipelines using Google BigQuery, Looker Studio, Tableau, and other analytics platforms.
• Monitor SEO KPIs (crawl health, indexation, CTR, keyword visibility, page performance) and conduct deep‑dive analyses of traffic and ranking fluctuations.
• Perform in‑depth technical site audits (JavaScript rendering, internationalization, migrations) with Botify, Screaming Frog, BrightEdge, and Google Search Console.
• Analyze log files to uncover crawl budget and indexing opportunities.
• Support implementation of technical recommendations (page speed, crawlability, structured data, canonicalization, internal linking).
• Partner with Content and Merchandising teams to translate SEO strategy into actionable on‑page optimization.
• Apply NLP techniques and explore LLM/AI integration to enhance content and linking strategies.
