About the Position
Join a leading Canadian employee-owned firm as a Senior Project Manager specializing in alternative delivery transportation projects. In this strategic role based in Edmonton, you will spearhead major infrastructure projects, driving innovation through complex design solutions and multidisciplinary leadership.
Main Missions
- Lead major transportation projects from conceptual design through to successful construction completion.
- Manage all project phases including design preparation, reviews, cost estimation, specifications, and contractual documentation.
- Oversee project lifecycles including planning, budgeting, tendering, contract administration, and site inspections.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high-level engagement and relationship development.
- Direct and mentor multidisciplinary teams of engineers and technicians to ensure excellence and professional growth.
- Drive business development by identifying new opportunities and promoting a collaborative, forward-thinking team environment.
Profile Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) accreditation with APEGA (or eligibility to obtain).
- Over 10 years of progressive experience in civil transportation engineering.
- Proven expertise in alternative delivery models such as Design-Build, P3, and Owner’s Engineer.
- Strong business development acumen and client relationship management skills.
- Valid driver's license and excellent communication skills.
