Senior Project Manager

About the role

Allshores is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives that deliver strategic business outcomes. You will own end‑to‑end project delivery, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities while meeting scope, schedule and budget targets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage project scope, budget and timelines with full accountability.
• Develop and maintain multiple inter‑dependent project plans across business units.
• Integrate organisational change management (OCM) strategies to support business unit transitions.
• Maintain a comprehensive RAID log and provide regular status updates to steering committees and leadership.
• Coordinate project leads, stakeholders, vendors and SMEs, ensuring active participation in key meetings.
• Organise meeting logistics, capture minutes and distribute documentation.
• Support intake, evaluation and prioritisation of new project proposals.
• Track benefits realisation and report on project outcomes.
• Mentor junior project managers and build strong relationships with sponsors and executive leadership.

Required profile

• 8‑10+ years of project management experience delivering enterprise‑level initiatives.
• Experience in regulated or complex industries such as pensions or insurance is a strong asset.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, PMI‑ACP, SAFe, PRINCE2) are highly desirable.
• Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with executive stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid project‑management methodologies.
• Knowledge of change‑management frameworks (ADKAR, Prosci).
• Expertise in project governance, risk/issue management, resource planning, scheduling, budgeting, RACI models and stakeholder communications.
• Skilled with MS Project, Smartsheet and the Microsoft Office Suite.
