About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead complex engineering projects in the copper mining sector, overseeing them from concept through to completion. Based in Vancouver, the role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget while aligning with company objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion within copper mining.
• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedule, and budget.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional EPCM teams to align project objectives with corporate goals.
• Monitor progress, report status, and proactively mitigate risks.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction.
• Identify and drive process improvements and innovative solutions.

Required profile

• A degree in engineering or a related field.
• Proven project management experience within the mining industry.
• Strong technical knowledge and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience working with cross‑functional EPCM teams.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
