Senior Project Manager – Enterprise Initiatives

About the role

Our client, Alberta Blue Cross, is looking for a senior‑level project manager to lead enterprise‑wide business and technology initiatives. Reporting to the Manager, Portfolio Delivery, the role sits within the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office and operates with a high degree of autonomy in a primarily remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex, cross‑functional programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Coordinate senior stakeholders, manage competing priorities and drive decision‑making.
• Translate business goals into detailed project plans, budgets, schedules and risk‑management frameworks.
• Maintain governance artifacts, integrated plans and financial tracking to provide transparency.
• Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
• Facilitate executive and steering‑committee meetings and provide concise communications to diverse audiences.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing large‑scale, enterprise‑level projects in a technology‑focused environment.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and influence senior leadership.
• Strong financial oversight and governance expertise.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
