Senior Product Manager – Growth (Activation)

About the role

Relay is a digital banking platform for self‑made business owners. As a Senior Product Manager, Growth (Activation) you will own the journey from a new user’s first login to a funded, transacting account, driving faster and broader adoption of Relay’s core financial tools.

Key responsibilities

• Rebuild the post‑signup experience to reduce time to first funded transaction.
• Diagnose and close gaps where customers drop between account approval, funding, and first payment.
• Establish continuous experimentation and lifecycle infrastructure for activation tests.
• Drive adoption of sticky products (multiple accounts, cards, bill‑pay, accounting integrations) at the right moments.
• Partner with Risk and Operations to minimize friction from KYC and fraud controls.
• Define, instrument, and monitor activation metrics that predict retention and revenue.
• Lead cross‑functional teams (design, engineering, marketing, sales, CX) to deliver polished onboarding experiences.

Required profile

• At least five years of product management experience with a proven record of moving funnel or lifecycle metrics.
• Direct experience in activation, onboarding, or early‑lifecycle work in a product‑led business.
• Strong data competency: self‑serve metrics, write SQL, and distinguish signal from noise.
• Fluent in experimentation, able to design, run, and interpret A/B tests.
• Excellent storytelling and communication skills to align engineering, design, and business stakeholders.
• Hands‑on operator instinct, comfortable with detailed UX flows and high‑level roadmap reviews.
