Senior Organizational Change Manager

About the role

The Government of Alberta seeks a Senior Organizational Change Manager to lead the change effort for the OPGT Information System Replacement. This remote position supports a large‑scale technology implementation and requires occasional onsite meetings in Edmonton.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute organizational change strategies and detailed plans.
• Perform stakeholder analysis, change impact, and readiness assessments.
• Create communication strategies, materials, and executive‑level presentations.
• Design and implement resistance management and change risk mitigation plans.
• Define, monitor, and report change success metrics.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and executive briefings.
• Coordinate with project managers, vendors, trainers, and operational teams.
• Support adoption of enterprise technology across 100+ users.

Required profile

• Prosci Change Management Certification or equivalent.
• 8+ years of change management experience, including at least one complex technology implementation.
• 5+ years developing stakeholder communication materials.
• Public‑sector experience preferred.
• Experience with large enterprise projects impacting 100+ users.
