Senior Manager, Financial Systems & Data Analytics

About the role

The Senior Manager, Financial Systems & Data Analytics will own the governance, maintenance and continuous improvement of Anaplan, finance data models and reporting capabilities. This role partners with FP&A, Accounting, Technology, Data/EDM, Risk/Controls and business stakeholders to support decision‑making, regulatory reporting and finance transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, governance and enhancement of Anaplan and related finance data processes, ensuring accurate month‑end and quarter‑end data.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and planning cycles in Anaplan, managing model preparation, versioning, data loads, validation and issue resolution.
• Partner with FP&A, Accounting, Technology, Data/EDM, Risk/Controls and business stakeholders to validate GL‑sourced data and define downstream reporting requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance processes, automation and risk management while delivering ad‑hoc reporting and analysis for finance leadership.
• Manage, coach and develop reporting team members, setting clear expectations and fostering professional growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Science or a related field; CPA, CFA or similar designation is an asset.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in finance systems, reporting, analytics or finance transformation, with hands‑on Anaplan administration.
• Experience with general‑ledger platforms, data integrations, controls and downstream reporting structures.
• Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement, system enhancements and change‑management initiatives.
• Previous people‑leadership or team‑management experience.

• Automation tools such as VBA or Python.
• DAX for Power BI calculations.
