Senior Indirect Tax Analyst

About the role

EllisDon is seeking a Senior Indirect Tax Analyst to join its finance team in London, Ontario. You will play a key role in ensuring sales tax compliance across Canada and the United States, supporting the company’s diverse construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review invoices and payments for sales tax compliance.
• Prepare and file GST/HST, PST, QST, and US sales tax returns.
• Assist business units with sales tax compliance questions.
• Support sales tax audits and conduct technical tax research.
• Monitor legislative and administrative changes in sales tax and communicate impacts.
• Maintain internal tax compliance processes.
• Assist with month‑end close and year‑end audit activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant sales tax experience.
• Completion of the CPA In‑Depth GST/HST course is an asset.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving abilities and high attention to detail.
• Well‑organized, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
