Senior HR Generalist (Part‑time, 6‑month contract)

About the role

Kongsberg Discovery Canada Ltd. is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to support its fast‑growing technology business. This part‑time position (20‑24 hours per week) runs for an initial six‑month period with the possibility of extension. You will act as a trusted partner to leaders and an advocate for employees across the full employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to build high‑performing teams, provide coaching, and guide complex people decisions.
• Rebuild, elevate, and maintain core HR workflows, policies, and performance‑management frameworks.
• Serve as an employee‑relations advocate, maintaining a visible presence on the workshop floor.
• Oversee payroll processing, benefits administration, leaves of absence, ROEs, WCB, and ensure compliance with Canadian employment legislation.

Required profile

• 7+ years of progressive HR/People Business Partner experience, preferably in tech, manufacturing or high‑growth environments.
• Strong HR expertise combined with curiosity, sound judgment, and a passion for helping people succeed.
