Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

OpenLoop Health is building the future of healthcare infrastructure with a telehealth platform that supports virtual care across all 50 U.S. states. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer you will design, build, and scale production‑grade systems that power clinical workflows, partner integrations, AI‑powered services and patient engagement platforms. The role is hybrid, with the Toronto team meeting in‑office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and execute technical integrations for new healthcare partners, customizing the platform to fit unique workflows and legacy systems.
• Design robust data pipelines to securely ingest clinical data and synchronize it with AI services.
• Configure and optimise voice and messaging channels to ensure reliable patient engagement across telephony networks.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and clinical teams to translate partner needs into clear technical execution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience shipping production‑grade software in modern cloud environments.
• Experience handling sensitive data with a security‑first mindset and familiarity with compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
