Senior Frontend Software Engineer

About the role

As a frontend‑focused Senior Software Engineer you will own the design and delivery of user‑facing experiences at the heart of Sardine’s AI products. Your primary focus is building polished, performant, production‑grade interfaces in React and TypeScript, while occasionally contributing to backend services in Go.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and own user‑facing features in React and TypeScript, ensuring they are polished, accessible, and production‑ready.
• Set technical direction and quality standards for the frontend, mentoring engineers and conducting code reviews.
• Leverage AI and agentic development tools such as Claude to accelerate delivery and establish best practices.
• Extend backend services and APIs in Go when needed to support new features.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to architect and implement new experiences from inception to delivery.
• Contribute to product and technical roadmaps and help shape engineering culture.
• Write and maintain user‑facing technical documentation.

Required profile

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with deep specialization in frontend development.
• Expert‑level proficiency in React and TypeScript with strong focus on UX, performance, and accessibility.
• Demonstrated fluency with AI/agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude) and a track record of using them to increase throughput.
• Leadership experience setting technical standards, mentoring engineers, and driving key decisions.
• Proven ability to ship high‑quality, production‑grade frontend at scale.
• Working proficiency in Go or ability to become productive quickly.
• Comfort with ambiguity and autonomous prioritization against business needs.
• Customer‑centric mindset with strong empathy for users.
