Senior Electrical Satellite Systems Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Satellite Systems Engineer to lead electrical systems engineering activities for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite programs. The role involves defining system architecture, managing requirements, and overseeing verification and validation throughout the satellite lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define electrical system architecture and manage payload‑bus integration.
• Lead system verification and validation, develop test plans, and support ground testing (TVAC, EMC/EMI).
• Conduct power budgeting, failure mode, reliability analyses, and develop FDIR strategies.
• Mentor engineers, coordinate with stakeholders and subcontractors, and lead design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Systems, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 15+ years of satellite systems design experience, especially for LEO missions.
• Eligibility to work in Canada and ability to obtain security clearance.
