Senior Director, AI Enablement & Platforms

About the role

The Senior Director, AI Enablement & Platforms is a senior enterprise leader within EQ Bank’s Enterprise AI team. You will be accountable for making approved AI capabilities accessible, governed, reliable, supportable and adoptable at scale across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise AI enablement strategy, translating business priorities into adoption road‑maps, learning pathways and change plans.
• Own the stewardship and operating model for the portfolio of approved AI platforms and tools, including Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft Foundry, GitHub Copilot and Google Cloud AI services.
• Oversee platform onboarding, identity & access, service catalogue, incident management, change coordination and lifecycle management.
• Establish operational telemetry, observability and service‑health reporting to ensure reliability, performance, cost transparency and safety of AI services.
• Partner with AI Architecture, AI Engineering, Data & AI Governance, Cybersecurity, Risk, Legal and business teams to embed governance, security and responsible‑AI controls.

Required profile

• Relevant post‑secondary education in technology, engineering, data/AI or a related field.
• 10‑15 years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise technology, AI platforms, service management or digital transformation, including leading senior leaders in a matrix organization.
• Proven track record establishing or scaling enterprise AI platforms, with deep knowledge of onboarding, access, support models, reliability, observability and vendor cost management.
