Senior DevOps/SRE Engineer (Hybrid, Montreal)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps/SRE Engineer to join our consulting team in Montreal on a hybrid basis. You will support and evolve the software factory services for an international banking and finance client, ensuring platform stability, CI/CD adoption and cloud modernization.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain availability and stability of CI/CD tools and services, adhering to SLA within a Follow-The-Sun support model.
• Collaborate with application teams and stakeholders to promote best practices in CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop prototypes, run proof-of-concepts and implement new tooling.
• Automate routine tasks, create chatbot solutions and reduce support workload.
• Contribute to the evolution of the Microsoft Azure public-cloud platform and define monitoring KPIs (SLO/SLI/SLAs).
• Document processes, share knowledge and act as the regional expert for CI/CD tools across the Americas.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience with software-factory tools in development or administration.
• Strong autonomy, ability to lead meetings and communicate effectively with international teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and client-centric mindset.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks, track progress and deliver high-quality solutions.
