Senior Consultant, Strategic Change Management

About the role

CIBC is building the bank of the future and needs a Senior Consultant to lead strategic change initiatives. You will shape, deliver, and embed transformational programs that improve client experiences and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive change‑management plans, including stakeholder assessments, communication, training, and reinforcement.
• Facilitate workshops, feedback sessions, and engagement activities to build buy‑in and minimize resistance.
• Develop forward‑looking, scalable change strategies and frameworks aligned with enterprise objectives.
• Oversee implementation of strategic initiatives, orchestrating work packages across product, business, and functional teams.
• Act as a central liaison, translating business requirements into clear, actionable strategies and ensuring cross‑functional alignment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading large‑scale change or transformation programs, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong strategic thinking, cross‑functional leadership, and disciplined execution skills.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear actions and to influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.
