Senior Consultant – Global Rewards

About the role

The Senior Consultant, Global Rewards is responsible for designing, administering and continuously improving Armstrong’s global compensation programs, including job architecture, incentive plans, merit cycles and market benchmarking. The role serves as the primary subject‑matter expert on Mercer’s IPE framework and partners with HR Business Partners, Finance and People Leaders to ensure fair, transparent and data‑driven compensation outcomes worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, model and administer incentive plans for global sales, middle‑management and leadership populations.
• Own and manage the global job architecture using Mercer’s IPE framework, maintaining consistent role evaluations across geographies.
• Lead end‑to‑end execution of annual merit review cycles, including planning, data preparation, system configuration and calibration support.
• Conduct market pricing analyses and respond to ad‑hoc benchmarking requests to keep pay practices competitive.
• Support workforce budgeting and conduct regular pay‑equity audits across regions.
• Maintain compensation data integrity in BambooHR and collaborate on payroll integration and compensation system enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• 3–6 years of progressive experience in compensation analysis, total rewards or HR consulting, preferably in a global environment.
• Hands‑on experience with Mercer’s IPE job evaluation methodology is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical capability and high attention to detail when handling confidential compensation data.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, scenario modelling, etc.).
• Experience with BambooHR and other HRIS platforms.
• Data analysis and reporting skills to translate large datasets into actionable insights.
