Join a leading civil contractor in Northwest Edmonton dedicated to excellence in earthworks, underground utilities, and site development. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Construction Surveyor / CAD Technician to join our team, where safety and a "one team spirit" are at the core of everything we do.

Missions principales

• Perform preliminary, construction, quantity, and as-built surveys to ensure project accuracy.
• Conduct precise field notes, sketches, and establish staking lines and leveling controls.
• Configure and operate advanced measurement instruments including robotic total stations, grade control machines, GPS, and data collectors.
• Monitor work progress through detailed topographic surveys.
• Prepare detailed drawings, site plans, and layouts using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, including the creation of macros for process automation.
• Manage digital files, survey data, and drawings while coordinating closely with Project Managers and construction teams to ensure plans reflect real-world conditions.

Profil recherché

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in construction surveying.
• Strong mastery of topographic principles and field measurement techniques.
• Ability to work overtime and Saturdays during the peak construction season.
• Must hold a valid Alberta driver's license.
• Strong collaborative mindset with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Competences requises

• Expertise in AutoCAD and Civil 3D (automation/macros is a plus).
• Proficiency with Trimble equipment and GPS technology.
• Experience with drone technology (a significant asset).
• Advanced skills in operating robotic total stations and grade control systems.
